The Birth of Blissful Baby

Every beautiful beginning has a story, and ours began long before Blissful Baby had a name. Four years ago, we were two friends dreaming up a thoughtful baby gifting business, inspired by the idea of giving something meaningful to new mums.
At the time, we imagined gift bundles filled with beautiful essentials. But then life unfolded in the most transformative way. Over those four years, we welcomed three babies between us, and everything we thought we knew about supporting new mums shifted.
What We Realised
We were showered with advice and information about hospital bags, birth plans, labour, and what to pack ‘just in case’!
But once our babies arrived, we found ourselves wondering ‘where’s the guidance for this part?’.
The part where the visitors go home, the hormones crash, and the reality of caring for your tiny baby sets in.
We felt the gap, deeply.
The early weeks were full of love, yes, but also questions, uncertainty, and a longing for reassurance we didn’t even know how to ask for.
And suddenly, the business we thought we were creating evolved!
The Gift We Wished We’d Received
Through sleepless nights, tears (ours and our baby’s), endless Googling, and those moments when you wonder if you’re getting anything right, we discovered something important…
The greatest gift a new mum can receive isn’t a beautifully wrapped present - it’s guidance, support, and someone to journey with her.
That became the heart of Blissful Baby.
Our ‘Why’
Blissful Baby is for the new Mama who’s just come home from the hospital.
The Mama sitting on the sofa with a newborn on her chest, wondering:
“Is this normal?”
“Why didn’t anyone tell me this part?”
“Am I doing okay?”
It’s for the Mama who feels overwhelmed by advice online but under-supported in real life.
It’s for the Mama who needs gentle reassurance, practical tips, and a sense that she is not doing this alone.
